Competitors will compete singularly against the clock over 1.75 laps of the circuit with the clock starting at the pit exit and the finish line at Westway. Space is limited to just 90 entries and usually sells out very quickly, so get entering now!
Spectating is free on the day, including paddock access, but you get the best view (and a free hot lunch) as a marshal. You don’t need any experience as you’ll be put on post with an experienced marshal. If you want to come along, bring a friend and it’s a good excuse to sit and gawp at 180mph racing cars at close quarters whilst manically talking between them. Seriously, it’s insane!
This is the opening round of the British Sprint Championship, which comprises the fastest cars in the country. The record for this event involved a sub-1 minute lap on cold tyres. Just take a moment to think about that. The fastest cars are accompanied by a huge variety of classic and modern racing cars. If you’re not going to compete or marshal, stick the date in your diary.
